Drone Brothers Documents Progress at the New Cody High School in Detroit

Drone Brothers is proud to continue documenting construction progress at the new Cody High School in Detroit, Michigan. Working alongside The Christman Company, our team is providing aerial photography and videography to capture each milestone of this transformative education project.

The new Cody High School is part of an $86 million redevelopment for Detroit Public Schools Community District and is the fourth major construction project under the district’s 20-year Facility Master Plan. Designed to create a modern learning environment for future generations, the new campus will feature updated classrooms, STEM and career and technical education spaces, athletic facilities, and flexible learning environments. The school is expected to open in fall 2027.

Through regularly scheduled drone flights, Drone Brothers is creating a comprehensive visual record of construction from groundbreaking through completion. Consistent aerial documentation helps project teams monitor progress, communicate milestones with stakeholders, and build a high-quality archive of the project’s evolution.

We’re honored to support The Christman Company and the entire project team as this new campus takes shape, and we look forward to documenting the continued progress of a school that will serve Detroit students for decades to come.
