Costco Distribution Facility Taking Shape in Sacramento, CA.

Drone Brothers recently captured new aerial progress at the future Costco distribution facility located at 7360 Metro Air Parkway in Sacramento, California. Built by W.L. Butler Construction, Inc., the project has reached a major construction milestone with the building walls now fully up and the site moving steadily toward completion.

Located within the rapidly expanding Metro Air Park industrial corridor near Sacramento International Airport, the new Costco facility is part of a larger wave of logistics and warehouse development reshaping Northern California’s supply chain infrastructure. The project spans approximately 92 acres and is expected to support large scale regional distribution operations once complete.

Our team documented the latest progress from above, capturing the scale of the structure as exterior work continues to advance across the site. With the building envelope now largely visible, the project is beginning to showcase the true footprint of what will become one of the area’s major industrial distribution hubs.

The Metro Air Park development continues attracting major logistics and industrial tenants due to its strategic access to Interstate 5, Interstate 80, Highway 99, and Sacramento International Airport. The larger business park spans more than 1,300 acres and has become a key center for warehouse and distribution growth throughout the Sacramento region.

Construction activity tied to the Costco depot project has steadily progressed over the past year, with site work, structural steel, and wall installation now significantly transforming the property along Metro Air Parkway. As the project pushes closer toward final completion, the facility is already becoming one of the most recognizable industrial developments currently underway in the area.

Drone Brothers is proud to continue supporting construction documentation efforts for projects driving the future of logistics, warehousing, and industrial development across the country.
