Project Spotlight

Thomson Reuters Demolition - 610 Opperman Drive, Eagan, MN 55123

610 Opperman Drive, Eagan, MN 55123

  • In December 2024, Ryan Companies acquired 179 out of 263 acres of the former campus for $41 million. Later on, this site is planned for redevelopment. Demolition of other older office/data buildings by mid-2025, retention and renovation of a 155,400-sq-ft data center, and the construction of a 3.6M-sq-ft industrial warehouse (Project Nova), as well as light industrial, residential units, and public parkland, are the approved phase plans.

Drone Brothers Involvement

  • Drone Brothers were contracted to document the demolition of the existing Thomson Reuters office buildings and data centers, as part of a significant multi-structure teardown and site preparation operation.
  • We also showcased expert drone missions that captured both aerial footage and still photography of the demolition process, starting from towering structures down to the final rubble.
  • We provided high-resolution drone footage detailing the structural takedown, ideal for progress monitoring and public documentation. Our drone reality capture services were critical in verifying demolition milestones and coordinating phased site redevelopment.
