A New Automotive Technology Campus Is Taking Shape in Wixom.

A major new automotive technology campus is beginning to take shape in Wixom, Michigan. Astemo Americas is developing a new regional headquarters complex that will bring together office space, engineering and laboratory areas, software development, customer support, and testing facilities.According to

Astemo’s official announcement, the project includes a 26-acre campus along I-96 with approximately 185,000 square feet of office and laboratory space. The development is designed to support Astemo’s work in advanced mobility, electrification, autonomous driving, and software-defined vehicle technology.

KIRCO MANIX is leading construction of the project, with design by Gensler. The completed campus is expected to support new engineering and technology-focused roles while strengthening Wixom’s position as a center for automotive innovation. Drone Brothers is documenting the project during its early stages. The first aerial captures establish a clear visual baseline of the site before the structure rises, preserving the conditions, grading, access routes, and surrounding context from the beginning of construction.Early documentation is valuable because the first stages of a project set the reference point for everything that follows. With consistent aerial captures, owners, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders can compare site conditions over time, review progress, communicate milestones, and maintain a visual record of the project’s transformation. As construction continues, additional captures will show the campus developing from a cleared and prepared site into a completed headquarters and testing facility. The project team will be able to access delivered imagery through the

One Click Asset Dashboard, where current and historical captures can be organized and shared.Construction is just beginning, and Drone Brothers will continue documenting the project as it progresses. To plan aerial coverage from groundbreaking through completion, contact Drone Brothers
