How to Simplify the Handover Phase.

Jan 21, 2026 | Construction

Most people outside construction never see the handover phase. But if you’ve lived it, you know it’s one of the heaviest lifts on the entire project.

As the finish line approaches, PMs and Supers are suddenly coordinating a small army just to document how the building actually works. HVAC. Fire suppression. Alarms. IT. Access control. Each system needs its own walkthrough. Its own specialist. Its own recording. It’s own schedule. And usually… its own invoice.

Observing this over the years, one thing has become clear: Construction doesn’t lack skilled people. It lacks time. And nothing burns that time faster than managing five or six vendors to produce what is ultimately one thing for the owner: clear, usable system training documentation.

That’s why we started approaching reality capture differently. Instead of PMs onboarding and managing multiple providers, we built a model where one call sets everything in motion.
Drones. 360 capture. System walkthroughs. Owner training. Even marketing assets when needed. Not because it’s flashy. Because it removes friction where friction doesn’t belong. The goal isn’t to replace anyone. It’s to let construction leaders focus on building, not herding vendors.

The video below gives a high-level look at how we simplify owner-training and closeout capture. And honestly, we believe this is where the industry is headed. Fewer handoffs. Fewer bottlenecks. More clarity for owners on Day 1. If we can make closeout even a little easier for the people who build our world, that’s a win worth chasing.
